A little something that has been a long time coming.
Finally the first cartridge.

WHO IS TRONMAN??

The Real Tronman is Jay Maynard. He is a fan of the movie Tron and he set out to make a better TRON costume.

"I saw lots of TRON costumes on the net, and wasn't satisfied with any of them. I decided that I could do better."

The costume was entered into a TRON Masquerade contest.

"The universal reaction was "COOL!". I spoke for a few moments about how I wasn't TRON, but a simple payroll withholding calculation program that had gotten overweight by changes in the laws. I won an award for workmanship - and the judges said, afterward, that it wasn't even close."

Jay has gone on to become a minor celebrity due to his TRON costume. He has appeared in several magazines and has also appeared on TV Talk Shows. He is well known now as THE TRON GUY.

This is a game based on that overweight payroll program.

It's not available....yet. I will post more info soon.

Actually it was Atariage that put the cartridge together for me.

I would definately buy an LED enhanced version of that.

The costume on the dude is quite disturbing, but the light-up cart is quite cool! I wonder why it hasn't been done before, that's a sweet idea...

The LED has been used by several people for home project carts in the pass. Also Packrat had a special LED Christmas Cart. The blue glow is perfect for a TRON cart. Kinda reminds me of the arcade games joystick.

The worst part for me isn't even the camel toe, is that the guy reminds of an old boss who was kind of a dipshit... That makes it even creepier!

Ahh, I didn't know homebrew games have used that idea before, I was referring to the original line-up of titles. And I couldn't agree more, the blue LED works so well and gives the impression of the arcade cab.
