In the past 24 hours, I've come across a few troubles with erasing data on a couple of games:

- In Yoshi Touch & Go for the DS, I've found that you can reset the high scores in each mode, but even then, any mode that you unlocked STAYS unlocked. I'm wondering if there's a way to fully erase the records and restore it to 'like new' settings.

- I also can't find any way to erase save games in Super Mario RPG. Again, I'd like to find a way to make it "like new", if at all possible.

Can anyone help me with either of these?

A lot of Square SNES RPGs you can't erase the save games. C'est la vie.

Sometimes there are hidden button combinations that erase all data. For SMRPG, you could disconnect the battery or maybe just short the terminals momentarily. Or just turn it on and off really fast.

I hate it when that happens.

I bought a used copy of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance only to find that EVERYTHING had been unlocked already! I deleted all save files (including the 200% one) and started over from scratch.

But that red skyline when the game starts irritates me... because I didn't unlock it myself.
