so i have a buncha parts, eveything but the main board, it's sad....well i got that too but it does not aork anymore!
basicly this is the very short story that drove my bloodpressure so high...... >:( >:( >:( >:(
I was being a bad boy and modding my ps2, my cat who has been jumping on the table as i'm trying to do this for about an hour jumped on my board, and the way i had it done, pushed down on another board and ripped about 7 traces from the board, all ICs way to small to tell what went where.
so i had it, never doing this shit again. but i got parts if anyone needs them.
heh i gotta rebuy a ps2 **** ** ******* >:( >:(

I wish I had an excuse to rebuy one. On my PS2, the rumble on player 1 doesn't work. Player 2's rumble works just fine but the vast majority of games won't let you play from the player 2 port.

Any idea what verion this PS2 was mate - I'm in the UK but need a spare early version powersupply from a US machine. I'd trade well if it was the right one.

There are rules that must be followed to keep things from getting fucked upwhen working on electronics.. Sorry to hear about your cat but what was you cat doing around your board and how did it rip things off the board? I don't see it.. Even soldered wires on an IC chip will not rip the pins off the board. Not unless they are hot.
Regardless I may be able to take some of the items off your hands.. What version did you have and what chip?
