OK, my most recent purchase from EB's website has resulted in a copy of 1942 that just will not work. Alcohol, Windex, white erasers....all have turned up nothing. So, in the hopes that someone can recognize an F'ed up board by sight alone, I'm posting these large images:

Its hard to see in the picture, but it looks like some of the contacts could be worn a bit. If its not that, then you should looks for broken solder joints, but I have no idea how they could get broken.

I have had NES carts die because their contacts were worn down too much. Is it possible to repair them by tinning them with solder? I guess I should try it out myself on one of my "dead" carts. All that should be needed is a very thin and smooth layer of solder on each contact that is worn away.
