I'm looking for suggestions/recomendations of where to buy a pinball machine. The only store I know of is classic pinball in Clifton, and I suppose I could always drive to tntpinball in PA. Are there other places in the area? What are your experiences with these places? Good to deal with or avoid like the plague? I know there are a bunch of smaller collectors who deal from time to time, but I'm not sure where to find them.

I do region searches on ebay from time to time, but haven't really found too much. I have also read the news groups and a few years ago even went to the pinball show in Wayne, but must have arrived too late, since there wasn't much I was interested in. I haven't been to the auctions yet, but I know they are pretty much hit or miss.

I'm looking for somthing from the mid 80's to the present. It should be in a good working condition, and that's about it.

Second tholly's idea for Super Auctions. I went to the pisspoor one he mentioned, all you have to do is watch out for idiots overOVERpaying.

Speaking of SA, when's the next Cherry Hill one? They have yet to add it to their calender. Anyone know why it hasn't been added yet?

I'll keep SA auctions in mind. Especially when they post the fall schedule.

I was kind of hoping for my first to come from a store and be refurbished somewhat. I can do all the electrical work, but this machine is going to be partially a gift so I was hoping for one in a better condition. Nobody has any experience with any of the stores?

One other reason I was trying to avoid the auctions is I don't have a truck, so if I am going to go through the effort of renting (or borrowing) one for the day I wanted to make sure I'm walking away with something.
