and tomorrow i will know what the insurance price on a 2006 Acura RSX Type-S is when my insurance company opens up

if the insurance does not go up astronomically from what i am currently paying, i will place the order for my new Acura tomorrow....it wont be available until labor day, so i figured until then i would try and sell my system (which i dont want to put in a new car) and my car as well

what im looking to get

system alone $1400

i still have the boxes for everything....they are in the storage space above the garage....ill pull them out later tonight or tomorrow and let you know....

and....the insurance for the RSX was cheaper than expected, so my car was ordered today....its on the assembly line now (the color i wanted wont be available until around labor day) and ill get it as soon as it comes in

Ok....here are the stats:

Subs: Kicker S12 L7 Solo Barics (12" Square L7 subs)
Covers: Kicker GR12 L7R (painted white)
Head Unit: JVC KD-LX1
Amp: Alpine V12 Expert MRV-1005
Cap: Lightning Audio 1 Farad Capacitor
Wiring: Stinger RCA cables and the wire that comes on the big rolls for the power wires and what not and there is a circuit breaker under the hood
Neons: It's Real Stuff Phazer Model PH-344 (purple) and a bunch of the neon tubes that Wal-Mart sold for around the subs and under the seats

I have the boxes and extra little things for stuff lying around that I could pull out if someone wanted this stuff.

I also have for sale a set of OEM 2001 Honda Civic EX 4-door taillights (all 4 pieces.) My dad's Civic has the Altezza style taillights on it now, so he's had these in storage for awhile and doesn't need them anymore. $50 + shipping.

but yea, im pretty excited....ill get it around labor day...ill be at college, but im leaving my car home and taking my dads car....my parents are gonna pick up the rsx and they have to bring my grandmom to my uncles which is by my school, so they are gonna drop my car off and pick up theirs....i guess with the back seat so small, they will be driving two cars out when they bring mine, since 3 ppl need to be in the car

But Tholly , is there any changes with the 06 RSX?

For some reason my dealership is being retarded and they are keeping everything top secret until release. Maybe they are releasing a bit more information in the USA?

When I bought my 05 they said there won't be any changes til 07?

Any thoughts?

i heard that the 2006 model is the last year for the RSX, so I dunno...doesnt matter much to me...ill be happy with the '06

now, i just need to learn how to drive a stick..hahahha

Haha right on , yeah I learned how to drive a stick with this car too ...... its pretty easy after you get over the fear of starting on a wicked slope in like a parkade =D
