i cant play as gill. i tried beating it with every character on normal direction. how do you play as gill????

It's like the GTA packages or tags story the same thing happened to me, 99 packages etc etc
maybe you beat it and you forgot to save? Now you're not sure who you haven't beat it with....
My advice is to cheat it in gameshark code or something, if that doesn't work ask www.shoryuken.com for advice I'm sure they'd be able to help....
Also you have to press down on the last chara AFAIK you won't see his portrait AFAIK?

Yea in the middle row of characters scroll all the way down or up, it's hidden.
