SHMUP fans... get Warning Forever NOW!

just thought i'd post a little bit about this game.

I went a week ago with Chunky, POG, and Captain Yashiro to a video game exhibit that Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry has at the moment. The exhibit itself wasn't particulary exciting, hailing itself as a "history of video games" but there really wasn't too much info to be had. just banks upon banks of tvs set up with consoles and various games. the panchinko machines on display were neat, but no balls to play them with. another set up of note was the 5 player bomberman they had running, which was a blast. overall though, kind of lackluster. anyway....

The exhibit did have one game set up that i had not previously seen, turned out it was a PC game called Warning Forever. it's a shooter with nothing but boss battles, and is a total blast to play. the game is timed and the quicker you beat each boss, the longer you will continue playing. best thing about the game though, is that it's FREEWARE. head on over...

That is an awesome game

I got around 321,000

at first it takes some getting use to but it really is a fun game

i'm up to 21.1 million points.... be sure you know how to use your weapon.... if you hit D (if you're using a keyboard anyway) it will put in two lines which you are able to re-direct into any direction, thereby letting you shoot at the enemy from any angle....just be sure to let off shotting to be able to readjust your angle.

Dude, if you didn't notice that two of the posts were exactly identical, then I suppose I shouldn't have expected you to reason that perhaps the boards had a hiccup in the matrix and created a visible deja vu.

As for there being TWO posts by me, it was because after the original one, I was tlaking to Perkar in IRC, and he mentioned that he DID in fact use the search function, but couldn't find a dedicated thread for Warninf Forever. Henceforth, why I made another post to seperate all of the links, with one being the dedicated thread. At which point the hiccup occurred and there was a double post.

ANd of course, if you read it, an explanations wouldn't have been necessary. w00t!
