All of them!

I was gonna reply along similar lines saying:

I could be an asshole and say "All Of Them"

Great minds think alike eh!?

I cant answer this question really as i only have 2 Games
Batman & Robin and a Sealed Star Wars Imperial Assualt which im not opening as im sure the game is better sealed than played

However i cant see any games being very "playable" really...

Game & Watches give you a better time!

I'm no expert on this, but don't all the games for R-Zone follow one of a very few LCD gameplay archetypes? Either "Racing" or "Catching Falling Objects" or "Fighting" with the only difference being the graphics? It would seem that one game being better than another would simply be a matter of what graphic set you prefered the most. From everything I've seen, Game & Watch (Nintendo) and Konami's LCD games had a spark of originality that Tiger lacked. If I'm way off base on this one, somebody set me straight.

Let's put it this way, before I sold mine off (and I had all 3 variations) I came to the conclusion that the old Nintendo Game & Watch games were WORLDS better than this junk.

Eh...Rzone is OK for a few minutes....it's an interesting quirk in videogame history. It's really no worse than those Tiger handheld LCD games....well, maybe it is, but I had a lot of fun with Double Dragon and Simon's Quest back in the day.

Actually, R-Zone games were basically just cartridge versions of their regular handheld games. I have the R-Zone version of Battle Arena Toshinden and the VRT-X handheld version and they're basically the same.

And BTW, Area 51 and Virtua Cop are the exact same game except the characters were changed as was the "music."

Yet it seems like Tiger was more successful...

I hope that's not where Toys R Us got the idea to rename their video game department the R-Zone, because that's exactly where I work, and I don't want to be even coincedentally associated with anything crappy.

Heh. Yeah, I laughed out loud when I walked into a TRU and saw that. Their video game department happens share a name with the worst portable console ever.

I had a Superscreen once, and played Toshinden on it. The thing took D batteries IIRC. And it was so bad I took it back to the store.

I would rather you pour honey on my eyeballs, followed by fire ants than play this system.

The Gizmondo is a completely different Tiger.

Game.com, R-Zone = Tiger Electronics
Gizmondo = Tiger Telematics (or something like that)

Every fiber of my being is screaming at me to not ask this question, but...

If I were to get one of the 3 R-Zone systems, which one should I get?

get the headset! if you are going to play a crappy game you may as well look like a cyborg-dork in the process!

seriously, theyre all about the same quality, the superscreen is just magnified so its bigger and a bit blurrier.

Trust me, all our stock predating the PS1 is long gone. I would've bought it all by now even if we did. Two years ago, we had like 5 leftover Casino games for GameGear and I think they were RTVed (Returned to Vendor) or destroyed; all the left-over N64 and DreamCast games were director marked-down to obscenely low prices. GameBoy Color games were also slowly phased out 2 years ago. The oldest system we have games left for is PSone.
I doubt any Toys R Uses have any old stock like that lying around. Once a product gets that old, if it's not selling it's RTVed or marked down to a cent so it can be bought out and destroyed rather cheaply.

But, if you go on toysrus.com, sometimes you'll find something random. They still have NeoGeo Pocket Colors on toysrus.com, or at least they did. That's where I got mine.

Wow, now that I saw the picture, I think I actually remember that system! Cuz I remember a crappy game that you wore on your head and the little screen was right in front of your eye, but I don't remember it being called the R-Zone. Unless there was another crappy system that you wore on your head with the screen right in front of your eye that I'm thinking of.

And, I hate how toysrus.com (which is run by amazon.com so all its crappiness is Amazon's fault and not my actual company's fault) lists things but then it says currently unavailable right under it. It's such a tease. B/C sometimes you can find some old video game stuff on here at good prices that rival eBay and still factory sealed (Like my Neo Geo Pocket Color for only $30)
