"Angel dust" is PCP
Cocaine may otherwise be known as Coke, blow, flake, candy, nose candy, pepsi, coca puffs, "C", Charlie, toot, gold dust, AKA, Vitamin C, snow, girl, glass, the real thing,
white lady, o.k. yeyo and okey doke.
Any questions?

A certain movie may need banning.

There's sooooo many drug references in the "kiddie" Nintendo games. Miyamoto has done a shit load, I'm sure.
I mean, come on...you eat a mushroom and get big?
Pffft, yeah, we brush it off, but it's pretty obvious.

I saw a quote somewhere that said that 'Miyamoto took the idea of growing mushrooms directly from Jefferson Airplane's "Go Ask Alice."'

There was some nutbag back in the 80's who did want to ban SMB because he said it encouraged drug use.

Yeah, but how about Pac Man? No drugs there, huh? You're a floating head who goes around a maze eating dots (pills) and "power pellets" and seeing ghosts.
If that doesn't sound like a trip, I don't know what does. LOL

That'll be "White Rabbit", not "Go Ask Alice" ;)

Yeah, I got the funniest tshirt. It says: "Computer games don't affect kids. If Pac-Man affected us as kids we'd all be running around in darkened rooms munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music" (laughs at bitter irony)
Also, regarding Miyamoto getting the idea of the magic mushrooms from Alice in Wonderland, ever since Pikmin came out, my boyfriend has been convienced that Miyamoto is on something. I mean, he admits that he got the inspiration for Pikmin from his garden. Makes you wonder WHAT he's growing in his garden...
Then again, Miyamoto has always been strange. I mean, he likes bluegrass music and plays banjo, 'nuff said! LMAO.
But, then again, all creative geniuses are at least a little strange.
And if anyone takes mushrooms because they saw it in Super Mario Bros and thought they'd get bigger and be able to break bricks with their hands, they're just stupid LOL

On the contrary, drugs make you smarter and MUCH stronger. Just look at all the broken question mark bricks in my yard and dead turtle shells...
Dude, you've gotta do some drugs and stuff...or something. :-P

Good ol' fly agaric (http://www.erowid.org/plants/amanitas/amanitas.shtml)...
[From an 1809 paper which describes the effects of fly-agaric mushroom eaten by Koryaks in Kamchatka:] The narcotic effect begins to manifest itself a half hour after eating, in a pulling and jerking of the muscles or a so-called tendon jump...The face becomes red, bloated, and full of blood, and...the head and neck muscles are also in a constantly convulsive state...According to their own statement, people who are slightly intoxicated feel extraordinarily light on their feet and are then exceedingly skillful in body movement and physical exercise. The nerves are highly stimulated, and in this state the slightest effort of will produces very powerful effects. Consequently, if one wishes to step over a small stick or straw, he steps and jumps as though the obstacles were tree trunks....[T]hese persons exert muscle efforts of which they would be completely incapable at other times; for example, they have carried heavy burdens with the greatest of ease, and eye-witnesses have confirmed to me the fact that a person in a state of fly-agaric ecstasy carried a 120-pound sack of flour a distance of 10 miles, although at any other time he would scarcely have been able to lift such a load easily.
Hilarious.

Actually... from what I understand... both titles are correct. I was actually thinking "Should I put 'White Rabbit' or 'Go Ask Alice'"
Go Ask Alice is the name that I have always usesd so I went with that... Didn't think anybody would notice ;)

What do you expect? The "kid" aka Link is on a "never ending quest". Chasing the dragon? Maybe. "Looking for his "girlfriend". Right, ahem basehead forever looking for dope, ahem. I always suspected as much.

Certain species of Fly Agaric are actually some of the most common hallucinogens native to Japan. Certainly not your "average" psychedelic 'shroom, that's for damn sure.
