I got it last November $75. It is the offical Nintendo black metal with 2 sliding glass doors on the front. On the front top there is the oval red Nintendo logo. Inside there is carpet on the bottom with 2 glass shelves and a long mirror on the back wall.

it is about 5' to 5 1/2' long
about 4 feet tall
about 1 foot deep.
weighs a ton!!

I don't have a digital camera so i can't put up pics yet. Going to try to borrow a friends.

Anybody got an idea on a real price?

sorry if this is in the wrong forum :D

Drawers?

It has 2 long glass shelves. The front has 2 sliding glass doors.

Oh and it says "The world of Nintendo"
with "the world of" in yellow and the Nintendo
as described above.

I have a feeling that he meant the shelves on the inside. I tend to remember these mostly with peg hook setups though.

Anyhoozle these always seem to be a buyers market to me because of their size and the issues that are going to come with trying to transport one. I know that when my indy shop shut down last year I was going to try to get one of theirs (they had 2) and would have paid 200 for it easy. You try to ebay this or something and its going to be hard to ship. Might be a local paper sale kinda thing, and those wont necessarily pull you alot of offers.

Good luck with it.

The unit you own is actually a two-piece unit. The base of your unit is a set of four ( and rarely eight ) slide-out lockable "chest of drawers" with the nintendo logo on them. Games were displayed behind the glass ( a couple feet off the ground ) and the drawers stored the games to sell. Both parts are very cool by themselves, but it was meant to be an entire display and storage unit. And, yes, they are heavy.

Don't sell it! Keep it and store your favorite Nintendo treasures inside it! You're lucky to have a display case like that. I work in retail and even my store doesn't have such beautiful cases!!!
