Who here remembers this cult classic fighter? I was reminded of it by the Time Killers topic. Basically, this game was released as PC software in 1996 and became something of an underground hit. It uses time travel as a device to gather extremely unique (and violent) individuals from all over the epochs of time and have them beat the bloody... blood out of each other! There's quite a bit of uncensored profanities (lots of which are generated by the cage fighter Savage), and the violence is ridiculous to the point that it's hilarious. It's certainly no Street Fighter, but Timeslaughter is an enjoyable kill-fest nonetheless, and I'm wondering if anybody else remembers, has played, or has at least heard of it. :)

*BUMP!*

Well, this thread plopped faster than a lead balloon. No one honestly remembers Timeslaughter? No one recalls the intro where scientist William Spade gets his eye drilled out? C'mon, I'm looking for at least one person who's heard of it. If no one does recall, I'll be glad to explain it... down to every last gory detail. :texaschain:

If anyone's interested.

I'll check it out and let you know what I think, Mike.

Alrighty, I'm going to reBUMP this thread on the hopes that A. Dustin has played it and found it either enjoyable, crude, or just plain weird, or B. Somebody else has played TS in the past and is just remembering about it now. If neither of the cases are true, then I'll let this thread sink into the bog of obscurity.

And Oob... love the avatar. :D

Are most of Bloodlust's releases not uncommonly weird?

Heh, all of their games are violent and fubar. Right up my alley. :D

Check out their library and see if you agree: http://www.bloodlustsoftware.com/games.html

I knew I'd heard of Bloodlust Software before. They're the ones that made the "Terror Firmer" game for Troma. They seem like a cool outfit. I should give some of the other games a try.

I'd have thought Bloodlust would have been more famous for Nesticle, Genecyst, and Callus, but perhaps those are pretty passe lately.
