I just bought a new DS the other night and I want to know if some company makes stickers to protect the screen for it like they do for PSP and GBA. If they do, will the touch screen still work with a sticker over it?

You could probably just find some screen protectors for a standard PDA, trim them down to size and use those.

they do. i have some for mine. the pad works fine. but i dont suggest putting one on the top screen. it causes wierd bubbles. it doesnt really matter. but they annoy me. i forget the company so i suppose my advice is pretty worthless :P

I wouldn't recomend it, it voids the warranty as my friend found out... It also caused him weird bubbles. However if you must Nintendo products don't break down all that often so I'm not sure how important it is for the DS, however the PSP on the other hand...

Hori screen protectors dont void the warranty. I'm sure you can find them elsewhere, but here is EB linkage.

I'm planning on getting a PDA protector later this week for my DS. For those of you who've done this, I have a few questions: Can it be easily removed? Does it leave a residue or change the surface texture in a way that's not easily undone? Any tips?

Thanks much!

You lose just enough sensitivity and "slide" on the touchscreen to not make it worth it. Don't waste your money.

Yeah, I figured it'd be like wearing a condom.

Just how scratched does the bottom screen gets through regular use? Am I being paranoid?

Good question, I am wondering the same thing because as of this moment, I am waiting for my first charge to go through so I can start playing. I just bought my DS from Target about 2 hours ago.....

it came with a free Super Mario 64 and then my wife gave me this 10% off coupon so I'm in good shape!! I found WarioWare Touched at a sale last weekend for $10 and bought two games with the DS today, Zoo Keeper and Feel The Magic.

I can't wait for that little red light to go off!! :-P
