I was watching the the official xbox magazine disk # 45. They had the Half life 2 developers on their talking about the half life 2 game coming to xbox. I must say if they pull this off I will really be impressed. I love games I play from pc to pong and even though I have the pc version of HL2 and I am going to pick up the xbox version. I just find it amazing how developers can do great ports when they really put there mind to it. They seem serious about this port. I have doom 3 for the pc and I thought doom 3 for the xbox was a great port considering the the xbox specs. I am just getting excited about the xbox half life 2 port It looks good but as usual Playing is believing. I still remember that turd call of duty for the xbox. Anybody else picking up the half life 2 xbox version or are you just gonna stick with the pc?

Can't wait to see how well Half Life 2 plays, also hope Painkiller still makes an appearance on the Xbox. :)

I'm sticking with it for the PC. I don't think it will control as well with the Xbox controller. You can't have the precision you do with a mouse and keyboard. Also I'm guessing the Frame rate will suffer if they want it to look nearly as good. Also you won't have Half-Life Source and Counter Strike Source. Though if anybody doesn't have it for the PC I serously recommend it, for PC or Xbox, I have a feeling Valve won't screw up on the port.

EA is producing the port, so I bet they will stick a whole bunch of hardcore extreme gangsta rap or emo in the game...

Valve isn't going to do much changing in the transition to Xbox. Counter-Strike: Source isn't going to be as fast paced with-out a mouse and keyboard, It would be nice if HL2: Deathmatch was included.

I just recently upgraded my computer heavily to play this, boy was it worth it :D :D :D

There isn't any multiplayer component, SMB :(

I hope the painkiller port is also good. I also was thinking last night when I heard the xbox was basically a pc I thought a lot more pc ports would have been flying to the xbox. System Shock 2, The undying, I was suprise to see the xbox not take advavtage of the bevy of older excellent pc games. When I saw Crimson sky released I thought the vault would open up. I think they blew a good chance on that one.

I hope the painkiller port

I didn't know that was heading to the Xbox. Sweet, I liked Painkiller. It was very Serious Sam, but a whole lot more serious!

As ridiculous as that would be, if it happened I can't say that I would be surprised.

I might at least give HL2 a rent when it comes out for Xbox. I'm curious to see how good or bad the port is...

People were worried about Doom 3. They had no reason to.

People are worrying about this. They will have no reason to.

I'm just hoping to have my XBox fixed/dealt with by the time this comes out. I dont think my XBox has liked the constant DDE issues that poor Doom 3 has been putting it through. Stupid Thompson drive. I think that HalfLife 2 is going to be giving the same strain and hurt that Doom 3 gives the system.
