How the hell does this happen? Are the audio cues in games that good that a blind person could guide themselves by them?
Dang. Pretty neato.

He was in EGM a month or two back. Great story.
Sad the writer failed to check the spelling of the game and claimed Soul CalibUR has blood and decaps.

Audio isn't given nearly as much attention in games as it should, especially with all of the hype surrounding graphics nowadays. You shouldn't have to depend on seeing as much as you are made to in games. Instead of turning on night vision, you could just listed to footsteps; or if you wanted to see how close the guy behind you was, instead of switching to rear view, just listen to find his proximity. I really hope that more games start including audio as much. Maybe one day hand-ear coordination will be just as important as hand-eye coordination.

Those bold enough to challenge him weren't so lucky. One by one, while playing Soul Caliber 2, their video characters were decapitated, eviscerated and gutted without mercy by Mellen's on-screen alter ego.
Wish my copy of Soul Calibur 2 allowed for that...
