Is there or Isn't there? [FF: Mystic Quest]

Hi everyone. Been a while since I posted anything. I had a fellow ebayer ask me a question today and I myself having no answer, I don't have much knowledge on FF MQ, for him/her decided to ask my peers here, (the experts). The question asked was: [A curiosity question if you have the time to answer since you sell some of the earlier games. Have you ever heard of a stategy guide for Final Fantasy Mystic Quest? I have talked to various people and they deny there ever being one. I have never seen one offered for sale on ebay. I received one in the mail about the time I acquired the game when it was new; it seems to have been published by Squaresoft and not Nintendo or Nintendo Power magazine. Appreciate any insight you may have to offer. Thanks.

Got it right here. It was a mail order from Squaresoft and I think it was included with the game. I think it was sort of a bonus for sending back the registration card. Not so sure on what I sent in to get it since it was years ago. I was also getting the Squaresoft newsletter at the time so that might have something to do with it. There is a bulk mail address label on the back so this definitely came in the mail.

Yes, I have one myself also.

If you bought Mystic Quest, included in the game box was a postcard.

For the cost of shipping, you'd fill out the card and send it back to them, and they sent you the guide.

It's a really good guide, actually.....and I never saw it for sale either. Some do pop up on EBay now and then. I'm not sure how rare that it is.
