I was looking at that auction where beanie babies get impaled to some furniture thing, and I wandered off to the website that set up the auction. I checked it out for a while and it hit me - those mystery auctions do bring up a pretty penny!

So I've decided to perhaps run one in the near future with nothing but PC games I no longer play. I decided to sell each game for a flat price, (I dunno, $3.50, maybe) plus the cost of shipping. But I can't seem to find any rules about this on eBay's help page.

So... can anyone help me out?

see if you can find the guy who sells boxes of hundreds of useless cellphone faceplates... ;) i wonder if he's still around.

Mystery auctions kinda trip a "danger" sensor in me... but... well... hopefully both parties involved know what they're getting into when they either sell or bid on one. be careful, it's a good way to get negs from people who don't know how to read. x_x

Sometimes you can get lucky. I recently got a Genesis mystery box for $1 ($10 shipping). It came with about a dozen games including Sonic 3D, Midnight Resistance, Pacific Theater, a Game Genie, MKII for the 32X, some Genny sports games and a copy of "Elf" on DVD.
I remember there was only 2 or 3 games that I already had and I think some of them ended up being label upgrades at least.
