1. What are the connectors on the back right?
2. Are there 3 different power plug ports so that the system supports more than one type of AC/DC power adapter?
3. Does the built-in wireless have support for the four-score or 4 wireless controllers at a time?
4. Will Messiah sell their new wired controller separately? It is nice to have matching controllers.
5. Is there any word on game compatibility, game genie compatibility, Game Action Replay compatibility, etc?

All excellent questions for the manufacturer, not the distributor. :) It will support all legacy first party peripherals like the Four Score, and the existing wireless controllers already sport 4 channel compatibility, so no issues there.

Game genie stuff, nobody really know yet. Soooooo many combinations, codes, games, first party, pirate, it boggles the mind.

Yeah, if you want a high-quality NES for cheap, get a professionally refurbished NES like omnedon offers. It is the best bang for the buck, and you get a nice retro looking system that has perfect game compatibility, audio, video, and peripherial compatibility.

Yes, they do.

But as can be seen above, CDN means Canadian and contrary to some peoples beliefs, we are in fact not part of the USA.

So $76.99 CDN with free shipping (About $63.50 USD) is cheaper than $60.00 USD PLUS international shipping.

And old school gamer rocks. :)

OSG will close the pre-order FREE SHIPPING program on Wednesday, Aug.31, at midnite sharp.

No word on exact ship date yet, but the initial allotment is reserved and set aside for OSG, and OSG's pre-order customers already.

I cannot gaurantee availability beyond the pre-orders, at least short term. No one really knows what the demand will be from *casual* gamers for this product. If it catches on, expect short term shortages for availablity, while stock is replenished. If it is successful in the community only, then they may not be as difficult to get.

Time will tell what the real demand will be. :D OSG is not ordering large quantities beyond the pre-order amounts, until demand is established.

Thanks all!

Steve

These will be shipping to pre-order customers in late October.

I've just been notified of the delay. here is the information straight from the distributor of the NEX:

I am sure that you are excited about your NEX purchase orders, and can’t wait to get them in stock! Unfortunately due to a slight delay, they will not be available until the week of October 17. This is when we WILL be shipping to you! I apologize for the inconvenience. All customers and retailers should receive them around this time as long as payment was already made to us in advance.

FYI, all pre-order customers monies have been forwarded to the distributor, so your pre-orders are assured, both by the distributor, and by OSG.

My apologies for the delay. I'm as dissapointed as the rest of you.

Thanks!

Steve
