Thanks to Joe for letting me put this up. :)
We know you love your Genesis. We also know you love VectorMan. After all, who doesn't? How can you not love a transforming alien made of metal balls? Well, here's your chance to let us know just how much you love them. Sega-16 is happy to announce our next contest, where you'll have a chance to win some cool prizes and have some fun while you're at it.
Have a tale about an adventure to find that elusive game? Fought tooth & nail to score a console at launch? Let us know! Simply tell us about a whacky, awesome experience you had regarding either VectorMan or your Genesis. Your submission should be around 700 words and in narrative form, similar to our Stories from the Book of Genesis series.
Be original. Be creative. Share that digital fish story with the rest of us! If you win, you'll score the following:
Grand Prize: A model 2 Genesis with all the hookups, sealed copies of both VectorMan 1 & 2, and your submission published in an upcoming installment of Stories from the Book of Genesis
Second Prize: A sealed copy of VectorMan 2, and your submission published in an upcoming installment of Stories from the Book of Genesis.
Third Prize: A sealed copy of VectorMan 2.
All you need is a tale to tell, some creativity, and a keyboard. Please consult the Contributor Guidelines or email with any questions about format. I can't help with content, but will be happy to answer any questions about how to submit.
When you're ready, send your submission to ken@sega-16.com with the subject "VectorMan Contest." Please include the submission in the body of the email. No attachments.
Only one entry per person. Contest is open to registered forum members only. Sega-16 reserves the right to change any rule or any other aspect of this contest or disqualify any entrant at any time. The contest will run until August 15, 2005. Entries will be accepted through 11:59 P.M. Eastern time. Winners will be announced shortly thereafter. Your email address will not be used for anything other than this contest. Prizes are provided courtesy of Sega-16's own Mel (http://www.sega-16.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=52).
Good luck!
