Having gotten the new NCAA Football a couple weeks ago, and with NFL training camps opening today, my excitement for the upcoming season is running over. Playing NCAA has wettened me for new games and I still have a couple weeks to go until the new Maddn comes out.

I know someone on here makes roster updates for one of the Tecmo Bowl games for the NES. Who is that and has one been done for 2006 yet? I'd like to update the roster in the game so that my Pats don't suck. LOL

Also, which game is the roster for? Tecmo Bowl or Super Tecmo Bowl? I HOPE it's the latter because it's so MUCH better a game then the first one.

Finally, any chance of a roster update for the SNES ones as well? Is that even possible?

leonk is the DP member who does it. he runs nesreproductions.com

there is an 06 rom out I sent it to him a few weeks ago. my copy should be coming soon. :) if not today i hope.

here's the label I made for the latest edition I also plan on making a box for it.

Thanks, that helped.....

Is it possible to download the roster update? I just want to update the ROM and play it on my computer with the real NES controller. :)

here is a link to the one I used. it has the new rookies and stuff

if you look around that site there are others that don't use rookies.

now how do you use a NES controller on your computer. is there some kind of adaptor I can buy or something. I still need to have it on a cart though since I don't want to play my friends on my laptop.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. ;)

Now I need to see if the SNES Tecmo's have roster updates for them as well.

Regarding my computer -- since space and money is tight for me, a couple years ago I got adapaters for some controllers so I could use real controllers for the emulators on my computers. I have them for NES, SNES, Genesis, and PlayStation. The NES one I got from someone on here, actually. I've also seen a website that sells them.
