These two seems to be the most popular. I'm wondering which one is the best?
I'm not interested in the extra ram, just need it to play imports.
I know some import cartridges can mess up the port on the Saturn and I also heard that the 4M one breaks easily.
Thanks.

ST-Key would fit your bill perfectly then...
shop around and should be able to pick one up for $7-9 sealed...

Agreed. All I ever use is the ST-Key. Works with everything but the very small handful of RAM cart games (mostly fighters).

The Saturn is fairly easy to mod for playing imports, if you are handy with a soldering iron.

Thanks for the help!
I have no experience with a soldering iron, so I think I will get the ST-Key. ;)

I wouldn't worry 'bout that too much anyways. If you were going to mod your Saturn you'd first need to find a Saturn modchip to solder in. And well.. they're not easy to find nowadays.
As for convertors; both the ones you mentioned are perfectly fine. I'm using a ST-Key with a ram switch myself and I never had any problems with it. Just incase you didn't already know, you can't play multible disk games with a convertor. It simply wouldn't boot the second disk.
EDIT: actually.. now that I think of it, you need a regional switch installed to play import games, not a modchip. Sorry 'bout that. Though that could be another option if you're willing to spend a little more money.

Hi VGfan
I would recommend installing a region switch, and a 50/60hz switch whilst your at it.
As a matter of fact, I can perform these mods if you're interested. 60hz is fantastic and can only be obtained with a mod.
Ive done the mods on many Saturns.
You would need to send me your Saturn, I would mod it, then send it back to you. Im not sure how much that would cost, shipping-wise from Denmark - UK. UK - Denmark, but if your interested, send me a PM!

I didn't know about the multible disc thing, thanks for letting me know. Luckily I can't think of any multible disc games I really want. 8-)

Actually, I also use a ST-Key with a ram switch myself and I never had any problems with it, even for multiple disc games.

ST-Key fine for regular imports.
4in1 Action Replay Plus for ram cart fighters.
There ya go.
