I recently got Breakdown on Xbox after hearing good things about it. First impressions were all good, the combo system looked interesting and the plot and story looked like they would be worth getting into. However actually playing the game is getting more and more annoying and its very repedative and the difficulty curve is really messed up. I don;t mind hard games, actually I enjoy them - as long as they are fair, but here I engage one enemy and get a KO punch from another. Taking on multiple enemies results in a lot of dieing and reloading as you don't seem to be able to keep them both in your sights at the same time making dodging both near impossible and there doesn't seem to be anyway of attacking multiple enemies either. This is a shame as I would love to see later parts of the game but every time I play it I suffer too many cheap deaths and get really hacked off. I'm not far into the game and know I'll have to face much more enemies later on which I'm not looking forward to.

All up as much as I'd love to play the game through as it has some great idea's - I'm thinking of putting it back on the shelf and putting something else on instead. I'm on normal difficulty as well, can;t remember the last time I played a game on easy and I'm considering restarting on easy for this. No idea if it makes the game less annoying though?

The Key to fighting is seperation. Knock one back and then beat the other one the death. You should be able to do it before the other one gets to you. If not then knock this guy back and pummel the other for a bit. It takes some time to prefect but the juggling act works really well.

I feel Sam's pain. I got so frustrated with the game that it ended up in a cardboard box, possibly never to see the light of day again.

Targetting system is REALLY annoying.

Good fun game though, although fustrating when you don't know where to go next at times, like that place where you jump out the winder and run along the side of the building.

multiple enemy engagement is annoying but like a previous poster say seperation is the key, trust me this game is a pretty unique experience and trust me once you get deeper in the game you'll find the challenges get a bit more bearable
