Hey all -
I recently had the good luck to buy a rare Astrocade game (Ms. Candyman) from a former Bally enthusiast up in New York.

In addition to many other rare things, he has a copy of the game Muncher with an actual logo label on it, and it even includes a small instruction sheet (which I didn't know existed either).

In the DP Guide, Muncher is listed as a game that didn't have a real label, all the previously found copies had a piece of tape with "demo" or "test programme" written on it, leading many to think that their copy was a proto. I've e-mailed the owner, and he assured me that the label was original, he didn't add it himself. He is selling his collection off, so the Muncher in question is on ebay right now.

I apologize to the moderators if they feel this topic belongs in the ebay forum, I thought the label variation was interesting enough to talk about here where more people would see it. No harm was intended!

The DP Guide is wrong. The version that says "Muncher" on it is just as "official" as the test programme version and not rare. I've had it and I know some others have too. Here's a pic of it on the ballyalley website:
