Went for my morning run this morning, and on my way home, I found a Sega Saturn sitting in front of a house by the garbage @_@
I had to run the last mile or so carrying the Saturn which looked interesting I'm sure. Got it home, plugged it in and not only did it work, but it had Rise 2 Resurrection inside (which blows by the way).
Too bad I just dropped $30 for a Saturn a few months ago x_x

I'd strongly suggest anybody with a CompUSA to check out their 2 for 25 bin. They have some pretty decent games in it. I myself Picked up both Outrun 2 and Oddword: Stanger's Wrath for 25 dollars total there.

NICE! I found my Dreamcast on the ground a couple of years ago now. Not only that, but I found $40 in seperate notes blowing around the side of the road at the same time, which I used part of to buy Sonic Adventure. Best. Day. Evar. The Dreamcast is the best working one I've ever had the pleasure of playing (very low hum, plays every PAL game it's eaten with no trouble, even boots some NTSC games without a chip) and it's got a box and everything now. Whee!
Back on topic, I found my sixth Japanese Mega Drive game today! The Flintstones for $4 (AUD). I'm really surprised with how many I've found (all boxed) considering I've never imported or used eBay. They've all been local in the wild finds. I haven't even run into a fake yet.

From a yard sale
NES:
Abadox
Sky Shark
Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Winter Games
Cobra Command
Karate Champ
Roadblasters
Treasure Master
Silent Service
Werewolf
Air Fortress
Vice Project Doom
N64
Body Harvest
Quest 64
I don't have a NES or N64, so I have no idea what these games are. Any good ones? I spent ten bucks, but I'm not really interested if I got a good deal. Just if I got some good games.
Oh, and I would go ahead and get RE2 & 3. They're not rare right now, but they might become hard to find again.

The PAL versions are easy to find. The US ones were less so, but both recently had a reprint from Capcom so you should be able to find them new for that price or under.

Just one day after getting my sexy DP shirt.. I get three packages that are ALMOST as sexy as the shirt:
Package 1:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/JumpmanPOE/Caltron2.jpg
Package 2:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/JumpmanPOE/NFLBasball.jpg
Caltron was from captainintendo, NFL Blitz SE was from pacmanhat and World Series Major League Baseball was from a guy on AtariAge.
Getting Caltron 6-in-1 puts a huge dent in my list... As does another boxed R5 for the N64.
Now, with World Series Major League Baseball for the Intellivison in my collection, I am only 6 games away from completing the library.

I went over to a thift store, the Barkin Basement, I looked through the cd's I said they had (on an earlier weekly finds thread) I found these for $2.00 each:(tell me if any of these pc games are any good)
The Best of Erich Kunzel & the Cincinatti Pops
Forbidden Forest 3
Everquest
King's Quest: Mask of Eternity
They have an area with a lot of outdated pc stuff and vhs's my sister went ahead of me and went to a shelf with pc controllers and SHE REACHED IN THERE AND DUG OUT A NINTENDO DOGBONE CONTROLLER!!!(the one for the top loader!) @_@ I'm so jealous!
I also found an Epyx 500xj controller for Nes. It has a rarity of 0 in the guide. How rare is it? Please Nes experts tell me. :/

They're fairly common. Obviously not as common as a regular NES pad, but a cool find nonetheless.
Its kind of annoying to use though... and its really delicate, so don't drop it on the floor or anything.

For NES:
Final Fantasy (with instructions, no box) - FREE!

Some other stuff too, including a box of free NES games, but nothing else worth mentioning.

I decided to check out a swap meet (even though I never have any luck at those darn things), and came back slightly disappointed. I bought the only three games I could find at a reasonable price that I needed.
Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures- SNES, 3 dollars loose
Time Pilot- Colecovision 1.50 loose
(Japanese) Starfox- Super Famicom 4.50 loose
I could not believe the high prices some of these places had. Something is wrong with a swap meet when the average price of a SNES sports game is 7 dollars...
Also yesterday I went to a local indie game store and bought Krull for Atari VCS. I paid 7 dollars for the loose cartridge, but he wouldn't accept anything less.

http://www.rydia.net/joshnickerson/dp/wk0803.jpg
I found a hole in the wall EB Games, and loaded up on some NES goodness. Yoshi, Skull & Crossbones, and Xevious were mine for under ten bucks.
Then I stopped at Gamestop and got a complete unboxed Pikachu N64! It's in excellent condition, and judging by the shape of the controller, it was hardly played with (AC adapt. and the AV cords aren't in the photo). Not bad for twenty bones!
