Just curious, does anyone have any interest in this event?
Has anyone gone to or plan to go see this concert?
Any thoughts, in general, on it?
I plan on going to one of the events, as I have read only a bit about the shows, but seem to feel that TT and co. are at least trying to make a serious effort to show a creative, less controversial, side of gaming.
I am looking forward to seeing just how they present the show, as there is supposed to be a light show, video and even some live interpretation.

14 hours since my last post, guess that tells me all I need to know about the interest in this.
Here is a link for those that may want more info.

I went to Video Games Live in Hollywood- the first day of the tour...it was really pretty cool, especially since beforehand, you could get autographs from the composers and game designers.

Thanks for the input. I bought tix for the NoCal show and am looking forward to going.
Unfortunately, or fortunately for me, although the show has been on sale for a whiile now, I was still able to get 3rd row center stage tickets. I guess interest is low. Then again I have not seen much publicity on the concerts. As a matter of fact, if I wasnt an avid gamer browsing this site and that, I probably wouldnt even know about it.

I hadn't seen much publicity for the show either, but there were around 10,000 people there from what I hear (that seems about right, since the place was pretty full). I could have bought close seats as well, but I was kind of broke, so I paid 6 bucks for the nose bleed section....I figured it was just an orchestra, so it didn't really matter, but they did have some on stage things going on that made me wish I were a little closer.

I'd love to see it but it's so far away from me. What i'd give for one canadian date. Preferably in ontario.
