In THIS place? I'll bet LOTS of people are.
Personally I'm just collecting boxed original GB games (not GBC). It's been a fun challenge!

Boxed GB/GBC or even GG is a really pain to collect for. Nobody keeps the boxes. That being said, I love a challange and have been giving these systems a lot more collecting attention that most of my others, just because its so hard to find complete items. The other day I passed up Tales of Symphonia so I could get a complete Legend of the River King 2. Keep in mind that I'm probably not too bright.

I'm going for the best GB/GBA/GBC games. Espeically ones that complete a game series (Metroid, Megaman I-V, Megaman Xtreme) and NES/SNES rehases, just for fun.

If you're going for completeness, it'd be pretty darn difficult.
That said, i'm always looking for boxed/complete GB/GBC games. I doubt I'll ever try to complete the collection, but I'll probably try to get the more popular/higher quality releases.

Nah. Minty cardboard box games are always the better choice over plastic cased games. Unless it's something uber-rare like Suikoden II.

I 'sort of' am.
My true love in video games are cartridges made by Nintendo for their home-based consoles. Which means I'm trying to complete the libraries for NES, SNES and N64 (Virtual Boy is done). I don't much care for handelds, but I think when I've finished all the libraries that I had listed (gonna take a while) I'll probably start on the GB/GBC carts.
Knowing that, its always in the back of my mind when I go out hunting for games. So I do pick them up whenever I see them for cheap.
Does anybody know if anybody has a complete Gameboy collection? I wonder how much space (loose carts) it would take up LOL

I'm trying, although the proccess is slow. And expensive. You can't really find complete Game Boy games in the wild, so I'm forced to use eBay for the majority of em.
Right now I'm doing original Game Boy. I'm gathering complete games, systems, and accessories released in the US. I have three more systems to buy, untold weird accs., and about 700 games to go before I'm done. I plan on getting whichever Color games can be played on original hardware, but may skip the rest of the Color games.

I'm collecting original Game Boy, I'm not quite as hardcore as everyone else in the thread ;) I'm happy with loose carts.
I've hit some finincial hiccups over the past couple months, so my collection has really stalled (last count I was at 85 games).
My goal was to average buying a game a day this year, but that isn't going to happen short of finding places that sell games at DP guide value (almost everyplace here sells at $10 flat) :( EB has been my best source, I need to use them as much as I can soon.
Still, I have a good start, and a lot of really good games so far. I'm enjoying this collection immensely!

Games can easilly be had at DP guide prices from EB, Gamestop and in multi cart lots on eBay (to offset the shipping on single carts). It's funny, since it's completely backwards from most other systems where flea markets, yard sales and thrift stores would normally yeild the bargains.

Where I live, there is a local mom n pop store that sells games. Their GB and GBC are all $10 loose. I have always thought that was high. It amazes me how many people actually go in there and buy them at that price. They usually make a fortune at christmas on those. The guy always tells me that people use them for stocking stuffers.
I think they have a good 200 different GB games in stock but of course none of them are the more rarer ones.

It is amazing. I sell even the most common GB games at flea markets for $10 and they move at a good rate. It's almost tempting to hit up EB for most of their $3 & $4 games for resale.

Mike is absolutely right on finding the bargains on most Gameboy games. SELDOM have I run into someone in the wild that sells their games below $10. Everyone does, even if they do not know anything about them, including pawn shops, garage sale and fleamarket vendors. eBay really IS the best source for them in lots. I was actually able to find MegaMan I-V on eBay for about $30 something total.

And since I don't use eBay, that makes things a little harder, and more expensive :P

I'm currently around 75 boxes/games away from a COMPLETE Game Boy B & W collection. I need around 35 games, and 75 boxes.
I need around 85-90 games for a complete GBC collection...
and I know I have around 350-400 GBA complete games, so I have a good start. I have some boxed stuff for trade right now in the Buying/selling forum if anyone cares, but I will pay very good money for boxes!
