All of those systems are truly different from eachother, and its really hard to reccomend you a system if we know nothing about what games you like, or what other systems you own, or overall what type of gaming experience you are looking for.

The Nomad is a portable Sega system that plays Sega Genesis Games.

You could get a nomad, a saturn, and some games for each of them for under the price of a new Nintendo DS. But getting a hold of a Nintendo DS (with a few games) would be much easier than the former.

If you're looking for something truely unique, different, and most important...fun as hell...go with a Nintendo DS.

They usually go for much higher than that, you'll also need the AC adapter cause they are very bad on batteries. Also Golden Axe II won't play because of the 6 buttons (don't know if any others do this).

DS is coming out with alot of really good and quality games soon, saturn has a huge library of different games, similar to PSX, and a nomad is basicaly a portable genesis, which is a good thing.
Also that $20.50 will soon rise to about atleast $50 before its over.

The Nomad is a portable Sega system that plays Sega Genesis Games.
It's also considerably thicker and blockier than the Game Gear (though not as long) and has about the same hunger for 6 AA batteries. If you stock up on Ni-MH rechargeables it can be a delightful thing to have with you.

It depends what your planning on using it for.
There's no point (well, no big point) in getting a Nomad unless you plan on playing it somewhere other than your house. Because then, you could just use your Genesis, and it would save you a whole lot of hassle and money.
That leaves the Saturn and the DS. And its really hard to choose because they are completely different. Good thing with the Saturn is that its got a pretty good library of games (espessially imports if your into those), and you could probably get one for fairly cheap.
DS, great product, small (but growing) library of games. Most of them are good, but are all still fairly expensive. Plus, the console itself will probably rank you in between $120 - $150 depending on whether or not you plan on buying one used or new. And if your planning on doing travelling, the DS is (obviously) portable, which helps. But then, you could always get the Nomad if thats what you were getting it for.
After all that, I'd go with the DS. ;)

Saturn has Panzer Dragoon. I'd say stuff about the import RPGs, but you don't like those.

But don't forget all the Saturn SHMUPS.

(That's Shoot 'Em Ups)

I bet you'd like Shin Megami Tensei's feel, though. You can talk to demons who call you a weak piece of shit at times.

I have all of those systems and i'd go with the Nomad. It's a nice system to have if you like genesis games. If you already have a genesis then you already have games for it and it uses the same AC adapter as a genesis 2 or 3(so you might have that too).

The DS is a very nice portable as well. It's much more portable due to it's smaller size and rechargable battery. I'd say you made a mistake trading yours for a psp but that's just my opinion. It basically depends how much money you'd like to spend. A ds will cost at least $120 and the games are about $30 each. A nomad will cost $40-$70 and the games are very cheap.

I vote the Nomad. No greater system than the genesis, an dyou can always hookup the nomad to the tv =)

That I did not know. Although, I can't say I play my Genesis a large amount, just when I feel like destroying Shinobi III (I only have to beat expert mode) or going through Street Fighter II (Sometimes Championship Edition, sometimes Super. I can't stand fighting Cammy sometimes, though.)

Saturn still hs the best SHMUPS. Panzer Dragoon is also an awesome rail shooter.

Wait, Genesis/Nomad has Contra: Hard Corps.

My entire argument just went down the toilet.

Although I love my DS I'll have to go with Saturn. Since the DS is still young there's plenty of time to get in with the good stuff...and while you wait you can pick up all the great Saturn games, especially the imports :D
