Has anyone here bought this game yet?

I've seen the commercial for it every 5 seconds for the past 3 days thanks to Comedy Central.

It looks pretty fun but heh I doubt this P.O.S PC can play any new games *which is why I am buying a new one*

So what's the deal with this game?

You've never played any SimCity before?

I think I did once at my cousin's house but I am specifically asking about part 4.

I'M a huge fan of the simcity games,I don't see why the game would'nt be good judging from the success of the past versions,I'm thinkin of buying the game but I want it for PS2,my PC is probably to slow to play it also but I'm sick of buying more parts just to play PC games plus the game is $59.99 which is ridiculous!I got the sims for PS2 though and it suits me until the price drops who knows when.

$59.99? Yikes? It's at least ten bucks cheaper at Staples. I picked up mine as I was leaving for work the other day, plus the employee discount.

But to reply on the game itself, it's amazing. If you've played any Sim City before you are in for a treat. The detail and how much you get involved has never before been like this.

I picked up SimCity 4, and I can't get enough of it. It's got the perfect balance of "difficult yet fun". If you have a machine that can handle it, that is. Just know that this game is a resource hog, particularly when it comes to the graphics.

I've seen it for $49.99 at Gamestop.
