popped it in to play around with Beatdown and the new MK game. scenes and dialogue edited and removed. wtf?

Well, people are talking about Hilary Clinton because she is one of the people against violence in video games.
Since all of this stuff happened it has made people mad and also caused OPM to censor that demo because they might get in trouble I guess.

My guess is, the demos have been made suitable for all ages, so that they don't have to card every single person that subscribes to their magazine or buys it in stores.
If they did that, there'd be another 10 posts here about sharks raping people and dirty syringes and whatnot.

I'm saying the example of "if you don't like what's on the tv, change the channel" kind of thing.
As I am offended by censorship, I don't watch TV in general, don't listen to "normal" radio (sat, internet, and local whatever-we-want stations for me thanks), and that sort of thing.

Yeah. Seems to me like the OPM disc has always been an all-ages thing so they either avoid M rated games or cut the demos down.
And it's just a demo disc, fer Koresh sake. Save the righteous indignation for the next actual game to get censored.
