Mega Hits Video Games? I just got back from vacation in Florida, I went to a local mall when I was there and found this little hole in the wall that I had originally thought was a music store ( didn't see the Video Games part of the title). I was amazed to see a very good selection of classic games. They had most of the big ones NES SNES, Genny, 32X, Saturn, SMS, buttloads of games for most systems GG, 2600, TG-16, Intelly,VB, GB,NES, SNES,N64 and quite a few accessories. I browsed for a while and began to notice no price tags on the games. I asked the girl at the till, and she said that the prices change so much they have to check online for each one when they sell them. That is when my experience took a fall, I picked a couple of games for pricing. 2600 Burgertime $15.99, Gamegear Battleship $99.99..... It was a shame too they had a lot of cool stuff including NES top loaders loose and boxed. plus a bunch of stuff behind the counter that she couldn't sell because it wasn't tested yet ( I really wanted that 2600 Game Brain too). I had to pry myself out of the store, disgusted and beaten. I probably only looked through about half of the stuff.

Maybe my eyes deceived me but did I see GG - Battleship for 100 bucks? What the hell kind of crack infested website are they pricing off of?

I wish I could have hunted around in Ft Lauderdale when I was out there for vacation in May but I didn't have any time. As far as I know though, there isn't any good game stores out there but I would've loved to thrift/pawn. When I used to live there, I remember going several times to a huge flea market somewhere that was open pretty much 24/7, and it had a circus in the middle. That'd be cool to check out again ;D.

Where in Florida did you see this store? I use to live in Boca Raton and now live in Wellington and there are no stores like that around here? In Ft. Lauderdale I mostly look for games at the Swap Shop!

It is in Ocala, I believe the mall was called Paddock. If memory serves the store is near the Sears entrance. It's pretty small, the store was only probably 10'X20' if that.

Gauntletwarrior:

Didn't that guy from the SWAP SHOP that used to sell his games in a giant tent all the time disappear? Who sells games there now?

God I haven't been there in over three years. Last time I went though this guy had a booth outside filled with new PSX games. The only games I saw the whole trip. Wonder how it is now.

LOL, thats funny I have a store in my home town like that its called "Games Playmania" its is by far the worst for pricing as you can get. Loose or complete nes, atari and so on start at 40-60 dollars rare or not they have a megaman1 game $149 loose. They say that is a "trade" price but if you pay cash it is ony $10 cheaper. This place makes me sick, but there is ony one thing I can say about this place if you ever need a system or a game they will have it but for a price.

Here is an example below I picked both of these up at a pawn shop a year ago for 5 bucks, but if I bought it at the store it would be the price on the case minus $10(for both).
