Just once I would love a bid war on a halfass rare game I'm selling. Shit this game is worth no more than $20 bucks MAX. See the link and laugh (then cry) and then laugh agian. There gonna pay too, bith sides of the war are on the up and up.

Yeah, people are stupid and sometimes good for a laugh.
Profiting from a game I had no idea was worth anything happened to me only once. Over a year ago I bought a complete Samurai Shodown Warrior's Rage for $10. I played it and put it away because I thought it was awful. After a few months, I was going through my games and I found Warrior's Rage, still minty. I popped it in the PSone and realized why I put it up in the first place.
In hopes of getting my money back, and with college expenses looming over me, I threw it up on ebay. The high bid was about $47. 8-) I was completely out of the loop as to the rarity of that title.

As for that game, there are several explanations for the ending price being so high... collector desperation, the desire of some to collect all things Star Wars simply because they can, completion purposes... etc.
