Well, I think that is really no question.
Let's see would I rather play Mario, or some game I have never heard of? Um, that's hard.
Well really though, I no there are some good unlicensed games, but I can't see anybody really like them better than the licensed games.

I didn't answer the poll, due to the vagueness of it. Pac Man was an unlicensed game, but Q*bert was licensed....which do you think is bette ron the NES?
You would have to compare individual titles. There are a lot of terrible games on the NES (N.E.S.) whether they were licensed or not. Simultaneously, there were a lot of good Unlicensed games. Percentage wise, I think unlicensed games probably winns for having more good games, but Quantity wise, Licensed games would win, hands down.
A poll this vague leaves the voter open to lookl ike a stupid asshole regardless of which box he/she checks.

I see what hes saying as which would you rather collect, perhaps Im wrong, but thats what I got out of it.
I prefer to collect unliscenced, just something about em, and how you know theres just fewer of them in general.

Both. For most games with two versions (licensed/unlicensed) there is little if any price difference between them, and nearly all are easily found on the cheap. Tengen Tetris being one of the few exceptions.

I prefer licensed because thaey are usually easier to get started (power up). The unlicensed games usually give me a hard time.

I don't make a distinction. I buy based on rarity and quality. Generally, rarity pushes for unliscensed and quality pushes for liscensed, so they probably balance out in the end.
