Some interesting and predictable results came out of a Ziff Davis survey on the next gen. Check out the link below to see if you agree!

The only thing that was a bit unfair is the Revolution hype machine isn't at the same point the other systems are. But that's the big N's own fault.

If these results reflect the next gen I can live with it. Like the force the game industry needs balance.

Studies like that only go to show the power of marketing. They ask people what they believe about the systems, which, of course, could only be based on what they have read or heard... since no one has seen any of these systems, and only some tech demos from e3.

I mean really, if I ask you which of the 3 upcoming systems have the best graphics, how the eff are you supposed to know? Which system has the best platforming games? Beats be since none are OUT YET!!!

People are just Microsoft and Sony crazy...and I can't really blame them. Nintendo just makes to many mistakes these days...and they never seem to be very serious about anything they do.

Do they have nothing better to do? That is completely ridiculous. Here, take this test for me:

Question:
-If you plan on buying a sports car, which will you buy?

A. 2008 Ford Mustang
B. 2008 Chevy Camaro (Chevy may or may not bring back this car, we don’t’ know for sure)
C. 2008 whatever Dodge brings out next

WOW FOLKS!!!! It looks like Ford is in the lead with 52% of the votes with the possibly but not sure Camaro coming in at 28% and the Dodge whatever at 20%. Hmmm, looks like Ford’s got another winner on it’s hands.

Absurd, what a joke. It’s sad these guy’s do this for a living. Shit like this is why I cancelled my subscription to EGM some time ago.

Sony is like a well-worn leather jacket.....comfortable, familiar and predictable. I'll pass on the PS3. The Xbox seems more interesting.

Microsoft is the hotrod bad boy of the trio. Exciting and cool. I want a 360.

Nintendo? I dunno. Seems funny that I've only JUST recently gotten into liking my Cube, which I've had for a long time. Nintendo, for me, seems kind of "dull". They don't do a very good job of selling "wow", or themselves for that matter. I can't see myself buying a Revolution until many price drops have passed....and a Zelda game has been released.

What if the GTA games had of been released on the Cube? Would the system have had a new fanbase? It would have been easily able to deliver the graphic upgrade that the Xbox did......

Oh, oh, C. should be the Dodge Challenger. It's going to be a smaller 2 door version of the current Charger. It's projected to be released in 2007 or 2008. Whats with Chrysler Corp. ressurecting all these past icon names to their new cars? Better yet, why am I still rambling?

The Challenger will definately be released though, the Camaro is still a big ?, like the Nintendo Revolution. I hope GM doesn't put it on the Holden Monaro platform like the *cough* GTO *cough*

I'm sorry, besides video games, my other passion is automobiles...

I hate to break topic but Personally, I can’t stand the new Charger. I am a HUGE fan of the late 60’s model and was completely disappointed when the scrapped the great prototype in favor of a modified 300 body with a Magnum front end. What a ruined car (at least in my opinion).

I have to second the Monaro comment as well. GM got lazy with that one. In Australia they don’t have the Grand Prix so the Monaro is the Monaro. It doesn’t look like any other car. Too bad in the states we have the Grand Prix and the Monaro looks like a 2 door, slightly rounded off version of it. Bad move on their part. The GTO has it where it counts but it’s simply not a good-looking car. As for Chevrolet and their offerings as of late (SSR, what a joke), it’s not even worth talking about.
