The owner of this prototype is trying to dump the data. So far he hasn't been able to get the game to work at all. I don't know much about SNES prototype boards, but I figured someone on the forum might. Does anything look technically wrong with the setup of this thing? What would those switches be for?

The prototype hasn't worked so far being inserted straight into the cart slot and it keeps a Super UFO copier from even booting to the menu screen when inserted. I don't think the problem is bitrot because I just don't see that interfering with the copier's boot menu.

The Super UFO is crap really... try another copier :-)

I'm not sure what would be wrong with it, but if you send me the cart I can dump the EPROMs for you with my EPROM reader. Of course I can keep all data confidential and only send it to you and/or the owner.

I do see that the board is not keyed, you are sure that you're putting it in the correct way, right? Sometimes with boards like these, the chips face away from you.

I thought of the possibility it was being put in backwards but he already tried that. I figured sending it out to someone with an EPROM reader would probably be the best way to go. I'll point the owner in your direction.

Cool... if he wants to email me directly, my email is DogP@comcast.net .
