If you're a DS collector you may want to check this out. Jump Super Stars is an anime based fighting game with characters from a bunch of different series like DBZ, Naruto, One Piece, Kenshin and such. It looks to be a Japan only release at this point. There is a contest over at Siliconera where it looks easy to win a copy of the game (http://www.siliconera.com/contest/dsjumpsuperstars/contest.htm).

Is it the Shonen Jump game? If it is, there is planned a US release.

doubt it there's way too many characters from manga that hasn't been released in the states.

I wouldn't bet on a US release. Nintendo USA didn't even mention it at E3, while they had Chibi Robo on display (and that doesn't even have a set US release). The greatest problem with the game is the shared licenses for game production in the US. Bandai has the rights to One Piece and Naruto. Atari owns the rights to Yu Yu Hakusho and Dragon Ball Z. Konami has Yu Gi Oh!. If the game is to be released you already have three different companies in the mix fighting for the title. On top of that there's a bunch of franchises, like Bleach, Kenshin and Prince of Tennis that don't even have a set license yet.

Yup, it is doubtful it will ever come over here. Oh well, at least we have the playable demo to see what might have been.

I'm not sure if it is the same, but a company called Viz has licensed the Bleach, Kenshin and Tenis no Ojiisama manga. It might mean that they get the rights to the games, as well. Then again, what do I know?

Rights to the manga and rights to the games are likely to be two different things. Viz has the rights to the Full Metal Alchemist manga, but it's Square-Enix that owns the rights to the games. Same goes for the Naruto manga, Viz owns the rights and Bandai produces the games.
