Is this strategy guide Japanese - or something else?

Since the book is in 100% Kanji, I think it may be Chinese? Anyone know for sure or have seen this book before?

Looks like Chinese. Hard to tell from the small pics, but games tend to have alot of katakana/hiragana in them since there are alot of 'import' words in japanese games such as "game" "page", etc.

Only Japanese i've seen with 100% kanji is traditional japanese, such as the kind you find at temples, or old poems, etc. Modern Japanese is always a mix of the 3 systems.
