I emailed the guy asking for a photo and a description on how they were different from other games.

He replied that they were mostly "chips" that pulg in to the Atari like games. He did not send a photo.

I replied saying that I will bid if he can send a photo.

He never did!

Not sure about this one. You don't know what you're going to get! May just be common atari carts without the case! He does list some unrealeased titles though :/

I found it odd that he listed "Mad Bomber" as well as "Kaboom", as I suspect it's the same thing. But then again, Kaboom was known as Mad Bomber, if not officially, then at least unofficially. Also, he listed "Mini Golf" as unreleased, but of course, Atari DID release a mini golf game, so I wonder if the other "unreleased" ones really are. Finally, it's also a little suspicious that the guy's father worked for Atari, but he has games by other companies as chips.

BUT... Could very well be legit, and as to my last point, Atari engineers have been known to copy other companies' games. I wish I could afford to get in the race to find out. Hopefully a ROM-releasing type will win this, AND there'll be a couple gems. That would be awesome.

(PS -- my hope of "a ROM-releasing type" winning was in no way intended to open up the long-festering discussion about whether somebody is "obligated" to release stuff or not; please don't start in on that again!)

Winning bidder was from CA, maybe he plans on stopping by & inspecting before he hands over any money? :hmm:

I really that the buyer is picking it up, because this guy just reeks of thievery.
