What do you guys think? I played the game and beat it, should I sell it on eBay? It is going for like 50 bucks, same as what I paid for it. A year from now, will there be a demand for the mature version? Tell me what to do. Also, does anyone know if when they start selling it in stores again will it have the hot coffee game in it?

"What do you guys think? I played the game and beat it, should I sell it on eBay?"

I don't know, we're not you, should you sell it?

"A year from now, will there be a demand for the mature version?"

Perhaps, but you have to remember how many copies are already out there. And the mod is lame anyways, the rerelease will be virtually the same.

"does anyone know if when they start selling it in stores again will it have the hot coffee game in it?"

You do know why it was pulled from shelfs to begin with right? I imagine the rerelease version will be like this game was until the hack was created. Of course they're not going to sell it again with this thing in it.

GOD!! I'm so stupid. Thanks for your insight, I think.

lol

Doubt I helped much, I just don't see why you're asking us if you should keep it or not. Only you know if you're going to get enough playtime out of it to make it worth more than 50 bucks on Ebay...

Are you a person who collects for rarity or value? It MIGHT be worth a more than the standard version someday, but I honestly don't see it being OMG rare or anything like that.

If you're hard up for the $50 right now, then I'd say sell it. If you're having any second thoughts, keep it. No sense in regretting it later. Trust me on that one.

I think I shall keep it.

Next question...
Should I sell my top loader and pre-order one of these Generation NEX things to replace it?

See my above reply, as the same thing pertains here.

A toploader will almost always be 'in demand', as not everyone is concerned with picture quality over functionality.

The non-official Nintendo systems are everywhere, but the name NINTENDO on the product goes a long way.

Rockstar released a patch that removes the hotcoffee.

But I wouldnt sell the game, unless you really need the money. I dont think it will be that valueable in the future either, just because of the 17+ rating on the box instead of AO.

Sell it now if you're not looking to keep it forever - once the hype dies down and people realise just how many copies are actually out there, the prices will settle down to a 'normal' level again.

Take advantage of the situation now and sell it ASAP. It won't be too long before its reprinted sans naughty minigames.

How does a downloadable patch remove something from an already burnt CD or DVD?

1. The patch he's referring to is for the PC. I don't know what that has to do with the topic, but if you click the link it's pretty clear.

2. The Xbox mod is only available by downloading a patch in the first place, so common sense would tell you that nothing is actually being "patched" on the CD or DVD itself.

So the picture quality on the NEX will be better than that of a top loader?

The toploader is RF out only, and poor at that. It gives snow or lines through the picture on screen. The 'toaster' NES has A/V but it's not the best.

The NEX will assuredly be better.

Keep it, it will be worth something someday. Along with my 10 sealed copies of Kakuto Chojin. LOL

Thats what I was thinking... In 6 months you will probably be able to get one on ebay for half of the going price today
