Not sure if this is allowed, I checked the FAQ and searched as well, so I'm just putting this out there.

I just recorded the old vhs of Secret Video Game Tricks, Codes and Strategies Volume 2 on my computer here, and am trying to share it on bittorrent. It's a 250+ meg divx file in a RAR, and if you want to download it, its available here (http://www.mininova.org/tor/88689) ( http://www.mininova.org/tor/88689 ) though I'm not sure I'm connectable at all. This is my first attempt at uploading a torrent.

Seanbaby makes fun of it here (http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/video.htm) ( http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/video.htm ) so you can get a taste of it before you decide if you want to D/L it or not.

It's pretty bad, but it's interesting to check it out.

If I ever get Volume 1 or 3 I will definately capture them as well. I also have some other miscellaneous videos I might encode as well, like Wrestlemania The Videogame Video Guide, Sega Sports Baseball Bloopers, Hot Newz Nsider's Guide to the N64, and the Diddy Kong preview VHS.

Oh and the Gameshark Pro 'How to Hack like a Pro' VHS.

Any requests?

I believe I have the entire series, including the Power Glove version, though might have been a different series.

Edit: Here we go:

I have four. The power glove one is from the Game Players series.

Nice collection, and I agree those need to be DVD'd :)

I've got a ton of the game player tapes.
unfortuatnly they're all "sealed" and i'm kinda hesitant to open them, I do have one from when I was a kid that i could encode myself
its the orange one with pow, simon's quest and thundercade.

it was sooo anoying..the person playing the game had thundercade on slow motion the whole time....

and its one of those games that freezes for a second when you pause it...so it was very very unwatachable and very unhelpfull. but amusing.

Just want to bump this for the first (and final) time to let anyone who didn't see it get a chance to download it before I stop seeding it.

I watched it last night and laughed my ass off. That is the funniest announcing I have ever heard in my entire life. And those two guys looked even geekier than I did as a teenager (if that's possible).

I'd love to see some other videos. Who's got 'em?

I think the tracker was having some problems because it seems to be working now, I have at least one person connected to me.

Looks interesting. Jumping on to check it out. Also, going to leave bit torrent up for a few days to attempt to help seed the file (though it's only 50k upstream).

Lol!

Used to love these videos as a kid....any media having to do with videogames was cool to me back then, but MAN, were those guys dorks, and yes, I knew it then. I learned to finally pull off the Ikari Warriors stage select because of these guys.....what a bitch of a code that was...

I still have 1 and 2...never bought 3, though I could have back then.
