My SNES doesn't look to pretty, F-Zero hurts my eyes and I wish It was better. Is there a Gamecube cable I can use thats better? Is RGB the best?

Thanks for reading.

Like all systems I think RGB is the best way to go. I am still pissed about that in Europe systems never came with an RGB-cable (except Dreamcast).

question, what is an RGB cable and where can I get one for my snes? Also amy I see a picture of one so I know what the difference is? I have composite RCa cables right now.

Would the £10 scart cable from GAME do the job? Anything must be better than RF. Scart is exactly the same as RGB but with different plugs, isn't it?

I've used the offical gamecube cable on my snes and it was so much better. The picture was crisp and not fuzzy at all. The sound was less muffled. On rf, when I started the console up I couldn't tell if it was on or not from all the fuzz. It usually settled down but not by much.

SCART is just the name of the 21-pin connector itself. You'll want to make sure it's a proper RGB SCART lead - if it doesn't say so on the packaging then it's probably just AV SCART (which is still an improvement on RF, but some way below RGB).

And I wouldn't buy anything from GAME - I paid about £3 for mine on eBay.

Thanks guys. They are £20 in GAME, is it worth shelling out?

Yes it is. I'm currently using a Monster Cable S-Video cable for my SNES, it's very pretty. :D

I use the same S-Video cable I use for my Cube. It looks pretty good.
