The search function is giving me that old debug mode line again but I dont recall seeing a thread about this. Has anybody found a PS1 emulator for the PSP? I need to work my way through FFVII before the movie comes out. The only thing Ive found is PSPSOne and with it running at about 1fps...I wouldnt really consider it an option. lol.

The PSP can't even handle SNES emulation at full speed yet-something tells me its going to be awhile for PSX emulation to run at any sort of effective speed.

I'm honestly surprised to even hear PSX emulation being spoken about so soon.

Actually, the last topic brought up about this was locked since the PS1 is still a 'live' console via the PS2.
I'd still like to see it done, though. :)

I just got a new SNES emu that runs full speed and the guy that made that says he's working on a PSX one and an Ad-Hoc so you can play multiplayer emulation. That'd be nice. I think it will be a while 'till we get a GOOD PS1 emualtor.

Heh, their is allready a N64 emulator, although its only running at 3% but it IS in development. I would not be suprised to see a PSX emu in a year or so. The original Bleem ran on a 300 mhz processor so I do not see this as impossible. Although it would be a bit pricey considering you could buy the REAL PSX game for less than the cost of a 512MB Memory Stick Duo that the .ISO file + EMU would require.

To me, the FAQ seems very clear. Why does this topic keep coming up?
