I have a SNES burn in test cart that I am looking to sell. I got if from an old Authroized Repair center. I am a NES collector, not a SNES collector, so I am not sure the exact worth. It is in great condition and works perfect. I will proably list it on ebay unless I have some interest on a few forums. Please let me know how much it is worth, and if anyone is interested. Thanks

You can always check the guide. The guide has it listed at around $150. Also, do you have any feedback? People are always hesitant to shell out money (especially for more expensive items) to people who have none. I'm sure you'll find some interest by SNES collectors on the forum.

I did check, but it is not always totally accurate with what people are willing to pay. Yes, I have tons of feedback. I have like 525 fb rating on ebay with over 800 transactions with only 1 negative feedback (99.8% positve). I hope there are some SNES collectors who are interested. PICS can easily be provided.

I'd like to see some pics of this.

BTW, you're in Knoxville, eh? I live only about 85 miles down the road from you (in Cleveland)...

Here is montage type set of pics of the test cart. It shows a few screen shots from a few of the various tests. Sorry the pics aren't very good, my camera blows ass.

If you have an ebay store you could list it with BIN of about $250 and someone would buy it within a couple of months. I sold tons of SNES stuff that way, I had a huge SNES collection of 300 or more complete games including almost every really rare one and sold it piece by piece for good money. That is my appraisal. Sell it for less and it will go quicker. Sell it for more and who knows if anyone will buy it or not. I'd say it is the rarest SNES item I know of but not as popular as the competition carts and some other stuff.

Thanks v1rich
I appreciate the advice. I don't have an ebay store, but I have been thinking of getting one. I have already had several people offer me between 100-150 dollars off the forums. So I am sure it would bring more on ebay......I hope anyway :D

For what its worth, I picked up both of the service carts for SNES recently. One on ebay for just over $100 and this one that you are selling from another collector for $135. You may be able to get $250 for one, but you also might be waiting a long time to get that for it too.

Just my 2 cents :D

Just my 2 cents, but aren't there 3 or 4 different snes test carts?

I really don't know how many different verisions exist. I don't know a lot about SNES. I am just trying to gauge interest to see how much people are willing to pay for this rare item.

I'm interested. If you list it on ebay please email or pm me to let me know. If you are looking to trade it I'm also interested.

GrandamChandler has a current thread going of his "find of the year" where he pretty much has all the SNES Test Carts, including all the NES Test Carts, plus service manuals for both.

Just FYI, in case someone was interested in seeing pics of all the existing test carts.
