1. "Huge Lot" means 5 games, MAX!

2. BIG ALL CAPS TEXT MUST INCREASE SALES!

3. "some of the games have instructions, some don't" is enough detail to get people to bid.

I hear Coke is starting to use eBay Marketing techniques in their own ads..

L@@K! HUGE LOT OF COKE! 12 RARE CANS MINT IN BOX, WITH CONVENIENT CARRYING HANDLE! SOME CANS ARE FULL, SOME NOT!

Feel free to add your own :)

Everything sold on eBay is rare, even if there's 100 other auctions for the exact same thing.

Mint is in the eye of the beholder and Mint can mean anything when you're selling.

Any differences between closing price and what you hoped to get for the auction can be made up in shipping.

Shipping and handling prices are magical numbers which can vary greatly even for the same item shipped by the same method from the same place.

Shipping and handling prices are inversely proportional to the quality of packaging and method of shipping used.

The more feedback the person you are buying from has, the slower they will be to leave you feedback (if they do at all.)

If you smear your camera lense with Vaseline and have a seziure while taking a picture of your auction, the picture is still good enough to use.

If you are selling, assume everyone who looks at your auction has broadband and put as much hyperlinked text, animated gifs, pictures not related to your auction, embeded MIDI, etc as you can on the page. Extra points for not actually having a picture of what you are selling on the page.

Ebay rules, for the most part, are just suggestions. Things such as keyword spamming are actually allowed.

Joke auctions will be shut down immediately. Scam artists will be allowed to continue with business no matter how many complaints are logged.

Etc.

The preferred way of spelling look is L@@K.

Stealing other people's pictures is common and perfectly ok.

If you just link to someone else's picture while trying to steal it the results can be VERY entertaining. LOL

Seller would inadverantly forget to contact you about shipping and total cost but within 3 minute of leaving a neutural or negative feedback for no communication, the seller responds by putting a nasty negative feedback on yours.

Shipping within 30 days of recieving the payment is not guarranteed, especially if the seller's still in Jr. H.S.

the best bargain can be found by searching for misspelled words. (ie ninendo instead of nintendo)

Some "shades" bidder would bid on multiple of the same item but only pay for the lowest winning bid and conveniently forget to respond to other sellers.

Hand searching the category rather than using the search function would yeild an auction for extremely rare game or item with insanely "pant-wetting" low BIN. (search function usually won't cover the newest auction for a few more hours at least :P and said auction would have been long closed by then)

If you don't specify "Continental U.S.", you will get a jillion bids from Alaska.

Unless otherwise stated, $3.50+ to ship one game cartridge means that it will be shipped in a padded(?) envelope.
