I want to know what this NES game is. All the text on the cart are in Japanese even the title. Here are some screenshots. If anyone can help me you guys can.

Here's another strange thing I found. I bought this Famicom pirate cart and I played it and it turns out to be Street Fighter 2. although it is stripped it is the game and it plays pretty well. Is this just a hack or did they release it in Japan. Here are some screenshots.

It looks like a japanese version of Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu,

I concur, there's no mistaking the somewhat-Jackie looking-like dude in the second screenshot. Bah, the Turbografx-16 version is miles better. :P

Well I know for certain the SFII cart isnt liscenced, or even legit, thats a true hong kong original right there.

If Im not mistaken, is that the one that has like 50+ "characters", except theres like 6 of each person plus the Mario Sprite from SMB3?

As a side note, is there any slowdown? Since its so cut back it seems like it should operate at normal speed.

Nope no slowdown on SFII but I only have the choice of Zangeif, Chun Li, Guole, and Ryu. I know it's definetly a pirate but it's still pretty cool to play SFII on the NES.

theres a ton of differnt street fighter pirates, the one you have is one of the first ones that showed up.

the one with 50+ peoples has smaller sprites and a differnt engine (I have a few copies of it myself)

Would you be willing to sell/trade one? I am interested.

all the ones are slight varients (label and data) if I ever come across an identical copy i'll definatly let you know

I've been picking up about 20 or so multicarts/pirate carts every month and the street fighter ones are pretty coommon so its only a matter of time.

The Street Fighter pirate seems pretty cool. Where did you find these things?

I took the Jackie Chan game apart and the circuit board inside is not your typical pirate (ie big glob of epoxy) instead it has 4 chips soldered on the board and it appears to be professionaly done. Very neat and tidy. So I am wondering if this is a pirate or not. Thanks for all your help in the previous posts guys, It's really apreciated :D

The jackie chan game is most likely a pirate yes. It looks like they took a copy of the famicom logo and pasted it on a NES cart. It doesnt fill out all the logo space on the cart, if you know what I mean.

Btw, anyone know what game(s) those SF2 clones are based on? I know that Joy Mecha Fight for Famicom is a fighting game so I guess this is one of the games.
