I have been wanting a turbo grafx, but I really cannot connect any ststems to my TV with RF since it only has one RF which I must use for my cable. Can a TG use a composite or component input? I know I can get a turbo booster for AV, which will probably end up being my only choice but I would hate to spend extra money for it. Thanks

To use composite - you have to get the Turbobooster. As for RF - they are designed as an automatic passthrough - they show the cable when the game system is off, when it is on the game signal is the only thing allowed through on ch. 3. No tvs that I know of ever come with more then 1 cable jack.

Would an rf splitter do the trick? I'm pretty sure you can use one to have both the system and your tv hooked up at the same time. Otherwise, it's either a modded tg16 or turbo booster that you'll need. Occasionally I'll see a tg16 with built in av on ebay.

RF switch goes in the back of the TV, cable screws into the back of the RF switch.

:)
