the cheap hong kong mem cards are just fine? or have some sort of flaw or something?

Just about every electronic device is made in China these days, so you NEVER can be too sure. I had a big name DVD player die on me a few days ago, despite taking excellent care of it and making only modest use of it.

I've got several Sandisk memory sticks that I use with my digital camera, same kind that you'd use in a PSP. They work fine for me.

Sandisk 512MB in my PSP, works fine :)

Sandisk is one of the more reputable flash memory developers. They are right up there with Lexar.

I've been buying Sandisk products for a long time (SD, CF, MS Pro Duo) and I've never had a problem with any of them.

Several of the PSP Sites did reviews of the SanDisk Memory sticks versus the Sony Brand and they found out the Sandisk were faster and better.

im talkin about the hong kong made ones
