NES Joystick turbo

my GF picked up a set of joysticks for the nes from goodwill they are nes grey with 3 red buttons and turbo switch on top of it and a start and select buttons with a turbo sticker between them, under it all it says is patten pending, no Manufacturer name just the turbo sticker on top of it. does anyone know who the Manufacturer is?

Pics would really help as there are many NES joysticks out there with lots of variations. They may also have originated from a pirated console set, as those controllers tend to have Turbo written all over them ;)
