After finally being able to play imports on my Dreamcast, I was wondering what fighting games we missed out on in the US. I know of Vampire Chronicles and Super Street Fighter II. Are there any others?

capcom vs snk 2.
Yeah, Super SF2 Turbo never came out, or Chronicles, or KOF 2000, 2001, 2002.

There was a pal release of that right?
Any chance that would work with a bootdisc?

There was, and it will. I loved the first game, and I love the sequel.
I played the hell out of my PAL copy on my NTSC console when I first got it, and still play it when I want a quick game of whip-ass.

though not technically a fighter, Giant Gram/GG 2000 wrestling is quite good

Agreed.
What about Virtual Fighter 3? I've never seen a copy of that in North America.

Virtua Fighter 3tb was a launch title w/ the dreamcast in the USA from what I remember.

Nah, Tech Romancer came out in the States. Limited distribution, but it came out.

I remember now... it's called Frame Gride
It's a bit like Virtua On with some Armored Core thrown in. It was pretty good if I remember correctly...

VF3:TB came out in mid october of 99. Some people gave it shit b/c it wasn't as pretty as Soul Calibur which was released at launch in the US. I think it's the best fighter ever and i've pretty much played em all!
THE ONE, THE ONLY- RCM

CVS Pro never came to the USA, unless you're looking at the PS1 port of CVS Pro.
Note: CVS (DC) and CVS Pro (PS1) have the exact same art covers...so they can easily be mistaken upon first look
The true verison of CVS Pro (DC) has Dan Hibiki and Joe Higashi on the cover

Tech Romancer, OMG, I have this game sealed and I still won't budge by opening it and play as I should've bought another copy a few years back when I could get it for $15 each, nowadays I can't even get a freaking scratched/beat up copy for less than $25 on eBay.
Also, does Super Puzzle Fighters II count? I'm so mad that Capcom passed up this game for US.

The Japanese release can be had much cheaper than the European release, and there really isn't anything that you won't be able to understand in it. If you want to go a little cheaper, grab the Japanese version.
And yes, it is quite the game. Sega didn't release it here because they thought it was too simplex -- and the first Fighting Vipers didn't sell too well.

Super Street Fighter II X and Capcom vs SNK 2 never came out for DC in NA. Only Japan... those are the only other two games I can think of off the top of my head.
