Well these guys are going to be at CGE, just curious if anyone had purchased from these guys before? Good / Bad experiences, quality of product, etc would all be appreciated! (This may belong in Arcade Alley, and I checked the search engine, couldn't find anything recent..)
They look pretty cool, and easy to assemble.

Doesn't look TOO unreasonable. I would ask around www.byoac.com first though definitely. I'd be more interested in buying the plans for one of their cocktail cab's than the actual materials themselves though. I don't like MDF (Using Maple plywood cost me an extra $60 for my entire arcade cabinet over mdf) and I'm sure I would want to change a lot of the other component/smake small adjustments.
They probly use ultimate happ controllers, which really suck, you have to assume every component they ship you is bottom of the line, and if you get the plans and buy all the materials yourself, you'd probly spend a bit less, and get a LOT more.

I haven't met the guys yet, but via e-mail they're very friendly and prompt. I would recommend chatting with them and asking any question you can think of - something you don't often get to do before making a purchase like this.
I've found that "In person" impressions are as good as, if not better than, past feedback.

I've asked these guys many questions about their products, and they seem to be above-board. They'll do some customization for you, including using controllers other than their "default" options, at the cost of a little bit of extra time and money.

I bought the side by side cocktail cab from them 2 months ago. Overall i am very happy they were kind enough to take measurments since i upgraded with some altec lansing speakers and bass it fits! The software is already set up the jukebox feature is cool and the joysticks dont feel like crap. Easy to assemble would have been easier if they would have drilled all holes they missed one and if the hinge they supplied wasnt missing a pin but a trip to the home depot solves that. Nice product i suggest you buy the cabinet only and not their computer own computer make sure the computer is not a tower if your going to get the cocktail version it wont fit.Thumbs up. :D
