I have a GB Player for my cube, I have tried playing all kinds of GB games with it but no matter what I do I just hate the Nintendo and Interact brand controllers, they are horrid for 2-D games, sloppy, awkward, and just cheap and inaccurate, I have resorted to using a Super Gameboy and my Snes, but I can't use GBA games with it. What is a Good Cube controller that works really well with 2-D games? I really need help because I am really bummed with not having a good controller.

Yep, the Hori pad. There's nothing better, without doubt.

Hori Pads no doubt. Btw, a few gamecrazy stores actually carries these for $14.99 a pop

Or if you're like me and love arcade sticks, you can go with one of the multi-format joysticks from Pelican.
Or get a PS2 adapter and use a PS pad.
